Nanoworlds Assignment Eight - Gigaworlds and Nanoworlds

The nanoscale is molecular in dimension and the laws of physics that dominate there are different than for larger scales. Human scale is nine orders of magnitude larger than nanoscale and electrostatics and quantum effects are largely irrelevant. As proof, it took until the dawn of the 20th century for the molecular theory of matter to take hold becasue the implication of the molecular scale in everyday life wasn't apparent.

Pick a size scale for your "creature." Perhaps you are a micron-sized animal that lioves in the water or you are a mm-=sized water flea or you are a skyscraper-sized multiple-creature super animal that lives in the atmosphere or under the sea. Maybe you are a planet-sized animal made from cooperative creatures.

What are the forces that affect your locomotion? How do you get energy, reproduce, grow? Do you have intelligence and on what scale? How did you eveolve.

Answer these questions as interestingly and plausibly as you can. Draw a scene or two showing you in your environment.

Fantastic Voyage. People shrunk to the size of a red blood cell travel in a similarly-shrunk submarine and travel through the bloodstream to perform microsurgery. What's wrong with this picture?
